9th Annual Hot Pink Luncheon and Symposium, Palm Beach
On February 6th, the Ninth Annual Hot Pink Luncheon and Symposium took place at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. This year's Luncheon was held in memory of BCRF's beloved Founder and Chairman, Evelyn H. Lauder. The event was a huge success raising more than $500,000.
Introducing himself as "Mr. Evelyn Lauder," Leonard A. Lauder, newly-appointed Acting Chairman of BCRF's Board of Directors, warmly welcomed a crowd of 250 guests. "It was Evelyn's dream to cure and prevent breast cancer. And I am absolutely committed to making this happen," Mr. Lauder said. "Breast cancer knows no national boundaries or political parties. We need to all work together to achieve our goal."

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research. The Foundation currently supports 186 scientists at top universities and academic medical centers worldwide conducting the most advanced and promising breast cancer research that will lead to prevention and a cure in our lifetime.
BCRF is dedicated to the highest level of fiscal efficiency and believes in full transparency about the distribution of its funds. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated to the Foundation goes directly to breast cancer research and awareness programs.
