Elburn, IL Group organizing the 2012 9th Annual BFBC Event to be held over two days in October!
The event will be once again at Lions Park in Elburn IL on Wednesday. October 17th and Thursday, October 18th, and will be held in loving memory of long-time committee member Lana Gould:
"This past April we lost a very special member of our group to Leukemia. Lana was such an integral part of our team . All of her hard worked was performed "behind-the-scenes." She was such a strong, dedicated, and loving woman. Lana will be deeply missed by us and all that knew her."
The Elburn Bunco For Breast Cancer Committee have built a new website and implemented additional changes that will enhance their 2012 event. 
The Committee is pictured below. Since this group took over in 2009, 2012 will be their 4th year together and their 9th year in Elburn. They owe their success to their predecessors, Cathy Thomas and her team, who did a great job and helped the new team prepare for a successful start. Had it not been for Mary Hardy stepping up when Cathy and her team retired, there may not still be a BFBC in Elburn!
In addition to playing Bunco, the Elburn group offers donation baskets and gift certificates, and enough door prizes for everyone to go home with a little something. They credit the generous support of businesses that donated items, services, or cash donations, as well as the numerous players and raffle tickets sold with the success of their events.
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is extremely grateful to continue to be the beneficiary of the Elburn Bunco group's past and future support.
