Manahawkin Bunco For Breast Cancer Group raises $13,400 in their second annual tournament!
These dedicated ladies were so inspired with their first Bunco For Breast Cancer event in 2007, raising almost $4,500, that they immediately started planning for 2008! The result was an incredible three-fold increase--on April 18, 2008, they raised $13,400!
The Manahawkin Holiday Inn was buzzing with excitement as 320 ladies gathered to play Bunco For Brease Cancer in support of BCRF. The organizing team has begun planning already for their 2009 tournament.
The Manahawkin team at first found the thought of organizing and putting on their first event quite daunting, but they persevered and at some point, the event took over and was a resounding success!
Their 2nd Annual Bunco For Breast Cancer party is now set for Friday, April 18th at the Manahawkin Holiday Inn. With some experience under their belt, they approach a bigger and better event with confidence.
