The Princess Rally--from Paris to Monte Carlo!

"Who knew that we needed several digital stopwatches, highlighter pens, an odometer, a trip meter, and oh, a speedometer on the car that worked properly?!? Who knew that we would have to complete 'Regularity Sections' timed to the second, several times a day, with serious penalty points if you were more than three minutes late?? Who knew that we would have to drive over 350 kilometres every day with only a brief stop for lunch, where we stared longingly at the amazing wines that we could only sip before heading back on the road?? We certainly did not!

"What an amazing adventure! We drove the Aston Martin DB6 from Paris to Monte Carlo along with 49 other classic cars driven exclusively by fabulous women from all over the world. Every morning we received our 'Road Book' fifteen minutes before departure and furiously highlighted and calculated timings before heading to the starting line for countdown from 'dix seconds.' The pace was furious, the scenery magnificent and the company superb. After clocking up penalty scores in the hundreds every day, we hit our stride on day five with a very impressive and professional score of only 21 points-all without any proper equipment!

"We humbly point out that the winning team's average daily score was 26 points! They were scared to hear that we would be back next year-and this time with all the proper gear!

"So, we made it back intact and are so much richer for the experience. Our mission was to raise money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation which funds research at renowned medical centers across the globe to help find a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime."

Rhonda and Cindy raised almost $4,000!! They hope their effort is as inspiring to others as it has been to them.
