On October 1, 2013, Tom Watson will set out to sail The Pink Boat around the world, single handed, to raise $1 million for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The Pink Boat has partnered with BCRF in support of its mission - to prevent and cure breast cancer - and help save the lives of thousands of women each year through sailing. The route will take Tom south of the 5 great capes with no crew, no engine, and no stops...for a world with no breast cancer!

"I just finished my first Single Handed Transpac last night! Thank you to the countless people who helped get us to the starting line, and then pushed us to a first in class finish and third overall! The trip was very difficult and the most rewarding thing I have done. Thank you for following along! Your support and encouragement has been overwhelming this morning. One of the great sources of strength for me were the names on the boat, the names of the survivors and fighters of breast cancer we put on the boat. If you know someone who's name I should add, just let me know!
Aloha."
